So the weirdest things seem to be lining up here. Weird in a good way!
Once upon a time, I sold a puppy to a fellow Icelandic chicken person, Ig(natius) and his husband, Patrick. Elska went off to live happily with them in Oregon, after I got to spend some extra time with her as a puppy. They then decided they wanted another puppy of mine, and drove to Missouri at the beginning of the year. Such a fun visit. Himmy and Elska are adorable together.
Fast forward to now … they bought land here in paradise, and it’s literally on the same street as the farm. How crazy is that. I visited it with him yesterday, and I can’t wait until they are all literally down the road from me.
I think they are a bit ahead of us in all of the paperwork to bring dogs over. But around 120 days from now, there should be Icies on this island. I’m really missing my girls, and they are sad without me. Frank says Disa sits out in the yard every evening, waiting for me to come home.
Ugh. I just had a seizure. I wasn’t feeling well at all, tried walking around for a bit, decided that was stupid and went to lay down in Megan’s bed. Evidently, I fell instantly asleep, and then started twitching on my left side for a few minutes. I woke up all disoriented and brain fried. It takes a while for my whole brain to reboot.
Chris changed some setting on my phone to share my GPS location with the whole crew here. Probably smart, dang it. I may not always have notice and lay down on a bed first, I guess. I thought I might be having some sort of “keto flu” because I was so sick to my stomach.
I’m going to avoid looking at a computer much today. Time to read a book. I’m almost finished with “Introducing the Honourable Phryne Fisher” , really enjoying it.
Well, everything I ate today has left my body, in one way or the other. Ugh. I sort of feel better now, though.
Made pizza dough for Scott and Lili, going to make fathead dough for Megan and I. Two cheesecakes are in the oven.
Doubling up on all the tinctures and potions.
