Happy Valentine’s Day

I live in one of the prettiest places in the world. For Valentine’s day this year, we decided to spend it enjoying the paradise we live in.

We took the top down on the Jeep, removed the doors because why not! and headed down to the end of the road we live on. I made too much food and we had steak on the grill and brought drinks too. What a great day.

Sean got me a new Jam’s World dress. I am a total addict for them. It’s basically all I wear. I have been picking them up on Ebay really cheaply but I’ve found out the hard way that these resort wear dresses really don’t wear well. So many of mine have holes in them so it was extra fancy to have a brand new one.

The girls had so much fun. Lots of dogs and kids to play with and there is a really cold river that meets the ocean at this spot so they really had fun going in and out of the river. Pippa gets the crazy zoomies when she gets wet and it gets the older girls all excited too. I love how her youthful energy is keeping the old girls on their toes. Use it or lose it.

Things I saw that are so unique: sea turtles resting on the black sand beach, whales just off shore and a big pod of dophins. We saw wild horses on our way back up the hill, including a baby. As usual, we are deciding to do this more often. Why wait for a holiday.

One of the best parts of the day was that there was no cell signal at all. Staying offline is much easier when you have no signal. I sure hate logging on these days with so much nightmare crap happening. Opting outside is so much better.
