That storm was something. Incredible rains and lots of heavy wind. Thunder that shook everything and an incredible lightening show over the ocean. It was quite nerve wracking and wet inside my hale. The girls and I got no sleep at all. I took them to work with me and I remembered on the drive in that I used to do this in blizzards. Still it was pretty unpleasant with lots of trees down. I’m really nervous about falling trees.
All day at work I heard no one slept last night. And lots of roofs leaked. It was that kind of storm.
Window and roof work on the agenda when I’m off this week. High priority. I heard we got a foot of rain in 24 hours and it’s going to rain for days.
