The craniotomy is scheduled for 7:30 a.m. on September 14, 2017, a Thursday at Straub Hospital in Honolulu. I’ll probably fly over on the 12th.
The only thing I can think of now are my pets. Frank has the three Icelandic Sheepdogs and two cats in Branson. He has no vehicle and can’t drive. If we can’t find a place for the pets, I’d rather be alone for the surgery rather than put them into rescue, as was suggested by some of my family.
Please help us out, friends. I’m a month away from being able to get them to Hawaii to live, just in time to help me heal.
One of my puppy people owns Gone to the Dogs in Zanesville, Ohio and has one of Gaela’s boys, and will take all three Icies and keep them together. They have never been away for boarding in their entire life, so keeping them together is really important to me. We just need to get them there, which isn’t easy, I know.
Actually, I sort of need to not be involved in this part, and concentrate on my own healing and staying sane. I have to stop what few over the counter pain meds I can take a week before so that’s going to be great, eh?
Nevermind! Valerie is going to go to Missouri and watch the pets instead of coming here to Hawaii. My babies all together, and she’ll spoil them all and love on them.
A date. Finally, a date. Two weeks. I can do this.
So happy you have a date! And God bless Valerie for volunteering to tend your babies. I’m guessing that will give you a huge amount of relief. Blessings to you for the lead-up process. I’ll be sending you all the positive energy I can on surgery day. Don’t know if that actually helps, but I figure it sure can’t hurt. ❤️❤️❤️

On Sept 15th there is going to be one LOUD YELLING from ALL your friends saying HI and it is NICE TO SEE YOU and it is time now to start your recovery Lisa !!!!!
