Baby steps and the best laid plans things I remind myself of often. Instead of saving up for a propane fridge, I’ve been buying bits of a solar setup to go with the old panels someone gave me when he upgraded his system.
I bought four used lithium batteries, an inverter, and a battery charger so at least I can charge my devices with my generator. I’ve got it all under the house for now, the only way to keep it out of the weather.
Before I get the panels on the roof and connected to the batteries I had some work done on the leaking roof. So much nicer now though there is still one small leak. Used roofing is like that.
