Cheating update by copying what I wrote to the Icelandic Chicken Facebook group:

I started a Facebook private group about Icelandic Chickens when Icies were only owned in the US by a few Icelandic Sheep breeders. I remember when it hit 200 members! It’s now over 5,000.

I left my flock almost 3 years ago to come to Hawaii to deal with a brain tumor and my flock dispersed. Three surgeries later and I am brain tumor free.

Thanks to Ignatius Vigé and his brother, I have a great start on a new flock here on the Big Island in Hawaii.
